by mcjojo3

Null Corruption is a Forge mod for 1.12.2 in which a placed Corrupted Block can start a corrupt world and seed Corrupted Plants.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.12.2

What it does

Once a Corrupted Block is placed, the mod starts corrupting the world. Each Corrupted Block has a slim chance to seed a Corrupted Plant, and a plant standing on top of a block can begin calling Corrupted Entities. A corruption command sets the speed at which the corruption spreads. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Only the 1.0 Forge file for 1.12.2 is published, with the beta channel and a release date of 2025-01-13. The author notes that plans may change over time.

Key features

  1. World corruption

Placing a Corrupted Block starts the corruption of the surrounding world.

  2. Corrupted Plants and entities

Corrupted Blocks can spawn Corrupted Plants, and a plant can summon Corrupted Entities.

  3. Corruption speed command

A command sets how fast the corruption spreads through the world.

What the author says

Null Corruption is my old corruption experiment mod, pretty laggy and mostly here for Archival purposes but feel free to play around with it! This mod will start to corrupt your world once the Corrupted Block is placed.
