MoreMetals brings a set of extra metal ores, ingots and tools with special properties into Fabric worlds from 1.17.1 onward.
What it does
Metals added by the mod can be mined, smelted and crafted into ingots, blocks and tools, each with properties that differ from vanilla iron, gold and copper. The copper variant was removed in 1.18.x builds, so a player who relies on it needs a 1.17.1 or 1.18.1 file. Fabric API must be installed beside MoreMetals.
The mod runs on client and server. Players on a server that runs it need it too, and clients on a server without it can still join only if the server omits it. Builds exist for 1.17.1, 1.18.1, 1.18.2 and 1.19, with 1.5.0 for 1.19 as the latest file, published on 2022-06-28. First published on 2022-01-25, the mod is open source under the MIT License, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
Adventure players who want more metals for tools and armor will find the mod's material set the main draw. Server owners can add it to survival or adventure packs, and the MIT License allows changes to the code.
