ModsFinder

ModView lists the mods loaded in the current Minecraft instance and on the server a player has joined, through a single command.

ForgeClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.19.2

What it does

Players who join a new server, or who start a modpack and want to confirm what loaded, can run one command to see every mod detected in the running instance. The list is shown on screen without a separate window, so it works in single-player and multiplayer alike.

The client-side design means the mod is only needed on the player's own installation, and the server does not have to carry it. Installation is a matter of placing the file in the mods folder of a Forge 1.19.2 setup. The project is published for Forge only, for the single game version 1.19.2, with 1.03 as the latest file released on 2025-08-24, and it is not open source: the code is released under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Mod list command

A single command shows every mod detected in the running game, so no menu has to be opened first.

  2. Server mod check

When connected to a server, the command reports which mods the server has loaded, which helps when a server's setup is unknown.

  3. Minimal interface

The output adds little on-screen clutter, keeping the display close to the default game view.

  4. Quick diagnostics

Players and modpack builders can check a setup in seconds, for example while debugging a compatibility problem.

Use cases

Joining an unfamiliar server

A player who has joined a server with an unknown modpack can check which mods are loaded there before playing.

Checking a modpack install

After starting a modpack, a player can confirm that every expected mod was detected by the game.

Who it’s for: The mod suits players who want to see their mod setup, modpack builders checking an install, and anyone troubleshooting a compatibility issue on Forge 1.19.2.

Does ModView work in single-player as well as multiplayer?
