Installed on either side, this fork of the optimization mod publishes builds for Minecraft versions the official release does not cover yet.
What it does
The fork targets versions that the official release does not support yet. When the official mod releases for a given Minecraft version, this fork skips that version, so its files cover only the gaps. Builds are published for Fabric and NeoForge, and Fabric builds are limited to versions that also receive a NeoForge file upstream, because the original stopped releasing Fabric files.
The base project is an all-in-one optimization mod that aims to improve performance, reduce memory usage and fix bugs in modern Minecraft versions. Its patches are listed in a summary wiki page, and the fork keeps that patch set. The mod is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.
Files exist for 12 release versions, 1.21.5 – 26.3, with snapshot builds also published. The latest Fabric file is 5.26.3-build.2 for 1.21.11, dated 2026-09-28, and the latest NeoForge file is 5.27.23+mc26.3 for 26.3, dated 2026-10-13. The mod was first published on 2025-10-18 and last updated on 2026-10-13.
