Mod Menu 1.1x is a fork of Mod Menu that restores a mod list screen for Minecraft 1.14.2 – 1.14.4 on Fabric.

What it does

The fork was started by barnabeepickle to keep older Minecraft releases working, since the upstream project mainly targets newer versions. Work began after testing Mod Menu on 1.14.2 and finding it did not behave correctly there. Most development details match the original Mod Menu, with a small number of exceptions.

Builds cover 1.14.2 and 1.14.4, with the latest Fabric file, 1.14.4-1.2.0, released for 1.14.4 on 2025-09-17. The first release, for 1.14.2, was published on 2025-09-15. The API imports keep the io.github.prospector.modmenu.api package, so mods written against the original Mod Menu continue to work. A config screen factory is included for mods that open their settings from the menu.

Only the client needs the mod, so players install it while servers do not. The code is open source under the MIT License, and public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker.
