Moar Ores adds new ore types to Minecraft's world generation, along with extra uses for ores that already exist in the game.
What it does
The mod generates new ores in the overworld and a Ruby exclusive to the Nether. Opal, Ruby and Rose Quartz each form their own ore, and their crafted compact blocks look and place like vanilla ore blocks. Because the mod focuses on a small set of additions, most of its content is ore generation and ore-derived items rather than new mechanics. Moar Ores is published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
Key features
New overworld ores
Opal, Ruby and Rose Quartz ores generate in the world alongside the vanilla ores.
Nether Ruby
Ruby appears as an exclusive ore in the Nether, so it is found in a separate place from the overworld ones.
Rose Heart food
Surrounding a Rose Quartz block with eight Rose Quartz gives a Rose Heart, a food item that grants temporary Absorption.
