Mo' Snow Golems
by BirchTree
Mo' Snow Golems adds more than 250 snow golem variants built from Minecraft blocks, each with its own projectile, effect or placement rule.
What it does
Each variant is made by placing two matching blocks vertically on top of each other, the way a regular snow golem is built, using the Sad Pumpkin block that players craft first. Some variants strip wood when struck with an axe, some inflict slowness or blindness, and some lay down paths of gravel, sand or red sand as they walk. The sculk and sculk catalyst golems fire a projectile of their own, while the clay golem places clay blocks where it lands.
The mod draws on the Extra Golems mod, and some of its functions come from there. It is compatible with Biomes O' Plenty, and the author notes that the golems work well alongside Extra Golems. Players on Minecraft 1.21.5 and newer get Pale Wood, Resin, Pale Moss and Pale Oak Leaves golems, including one that regenerates itself and one that grows plants. Mo' Snow Golems runs on Forge and NeoForge, is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, and is not open source. The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it.
