What it does

Mired adds redstone components built around analog signals, which range from 0 to 15, with the aim of making compact logic and timed redstone circuits smaller and simpler. Its components are useful for Create automation, where a single component can replace a larger arrangement of standard parts, including vertical layouts.

A comparison component can calculate and store values. It runs in add, subtract, multiply or divide mode, and the output can be sent back into the input side or to another side. A latch-style component holds an analog value on a long signal and updates only when the input changes, while the default mode reacts to a rising edge. The mod comes in three variants, Andesite, Copper and Brass, and each looks like its casing's face with a redstone connector. Mired requires Create and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Optional support for Create Aeronautics is available as well.

    A component compares analog inputs and computes add, subtract, multiply or divide results, with a selectable output side.

    A component stores an analog value from a powered side and updates it only when the input changes, with two modes.

  3. Inverting component

    A component inverts the analog signal it receives from behind, for reversing signal strengths in a circuit.

  4. Wrench-adjustable connectors

    Right-clicking a face with a wrench toggles its connector, and the Alt modifier affects the face behind the block.
