Miner adds a rideable mining machine for Fabric that drills through terrain and stores what it breaks, controlled by players from inside or from a distance.
What it does
Players summon the Miner machine and either ride it directly or steer it remotely with a simple stick. The drill cuts forward, upward or downward, and its angle can be adjusted. Blocks in front of the drill are destroyed automatically, and the broken blocks go into the machine's built-in storage. Nearby dropped items are picked up as well, so a long cave run can be left to work through an area without a pickaxe.
The machine is built for large mining projects and cave exploration, where clearing a wide area by hand is slow. When the inventory fills, valuable resources replace less valuable junk, and the Miner keeps its place in the world without despawning. Its drill also damages hostile mobs it passes through. The animations are handled by GeckoLib, which must be installed alongside the mod.
Miner is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.10 only, with a single file dated 2026-07-26, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Its one required dependency is Geckolib.

Rideable machine
Players right-click with an empty hand to ride the Miner, and shift with right-click to open its inventory.
Remote control
A stick started by right-click lets a player drive the machine from a distance and change the drill angle with the arrow keys.
3D drilling
The drill can cut forward, upward or downward, with an adjustable angle for each direction.
Automatic mining and pickup
Blocks in front of the drill are broken and stored, and nearby dropped items are collected without manual action.
Persistent and summonable
A Miner never despawns, and a summon mode calls it to the player's location whenever it is needed.
