The Mimicer Russia Russifier

by gh_2010

Mimicer Russia Russifier is a Forge cursed-category mod that swaps the Mimicer creature's voice for a Russian one, with a Steve-like creature hiding in caves.

ForgeClient and serverMIT License1.19.2 – 1.19.4

What it does

The Mimicer creature appears in caves and resembles Steve, so it can be mistaken for the player's own character until the horror starts. The mod's voice lines are replaced with Russian audio, and the roar that signals the hunt has begun is part of that change. Its behavior and spawn logic are left as the original mod sets them.

The mod is published for Forge only, across the 1.19.2 – 1.19.4 range, with files for 1.19.2, 1.19.3 and 1.19.4. The latest file, 1.7.0, targets 1.19.4 and sits on the beta channel. Both client and server need the mod, and the code is released under the MIT License, which is not open source.

Key features

  1. Russian voice

The creature's voice is replaced with Russian audio, so the same encounters play with different sound.

  2. Cave encounters

The creature appears in caves and looks like Steve, which makes the first sighting harder to notice.

  3. Hunt roar

A terrifying roar marks the start of the hunt, giving the player a cue before the chase begins.

  4. Behavior unchanged

Only the voice is altered, so the creature keeps the behavior the original mod gives it.
