MIKANCRAFT Mining Dimension adds a separate dimension for mining, reached through a portal that players build after locating a shrine.
What it does
The dimension is a mining area kept apart from the overworld, so ore digging does not alter the surface landscape. Players reach it by building a portal, which requires finding a shrine and crafting a chest from stone bricks. The mod runs on Forge only, and both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.12.2 – 1.20.1 across six release versions, with 1.0.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest file, under All rights reserved; the code is not open source.

This mod is similar to Aroma1997's Mining dimension mod, but for more modern minecraft versions. To make the portal, all you need is to find a shrine made of stone bricks and all you need to make the portal is in the chest. It includes a pickaxe you can build with (right click)
