Midori's Stalker brings ten kinds of stalking creatures into Forge worlds, drawn from a YouTuber's videos, and it is built on GeckoLib for 1.20.1.

What it does

Ten entity types, called Stalkers or Silent variants, roam the world and watch the player from a distance. Their behaviour follows the creatures shown in the author's Midoori videos, and the entity designs are credited to LCrandom. GeckoLib 1.20.1 for Forge has to be installed for the mod to work.

Encounters are driven by dynamic events such as sudden appearances, windows breaking and doors opening inside a house. An aggressive mode makes the mod hostile, and some entities move while the player is nearby. Single hits from them can deal very large damage, so keeping distance is the safer way to play.

The mod is for Forge on 1.20.1 only. Either side can run it, and neither needs it, so it can be used on a single-player client, on a server, or on both. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Does Midori's Stalker require GeckoLib?

Yes. GeckoLib 1.20.1 for Forge must be installed alongside the mod for it to work.

Does the server need Midori's Stalker?

No. Either side can run it, and neither needs it, so the server can run without the mod while a player adds it on the client alone.
