LOTR MiddleEarth Tweaks is a Forge add-on for the LOTR Mod on Minecraft 1.7.10, adding configurable options for mounts, guard mode, conquest and health display.

What it does

Installation needs the LOTR dependency. Once it is present, the mod changes several parts of the LOTR Mod's behavior: mount speeds can be customized, the guard mode gains an advanced setting, and a health bar attribute display is added. Conquest decay can be adjusted, and the author states the conquest fix is compatible with the LOTR Mod. Either side can run it, and neither needs it.

The feature list also covers new bark blocks with their own block ID, while several decorative variants such as vertical slabs, wool bark beam slabs, wool bark stairs and bark walls with branches are listed as disabled. Work on the mod is still in progress, and the author says more features are planned. Files are published for Forge 1.7.10 only, with the latest file 1.6.21 dated 2026-08-28. The license is a custom one and the project is not open source, though public links are available for the source code, issue tracker and wiki.
