Mannequin
by Cublem
Players who build scenes and screenshots can pose NPCs with Mannequin, a Fabric mod that places posable figures in the world and lets them be arranged for thumbnails and renders.
What it does
Mannequin is an all-in-one NPC posing mod. Each mannequin can be given a custom skin, a model type and a set of equipment, then rotated, translated and scaled part by part. Blockbench .bbmodel files can be imported alongside the range of vanilla model types, and the mod supports mob-specific visuals with some edge cases still open. Skins can come from saved skin files, skin URLs or Minecraft usernames.
Pose presets can be saved and applied again later, so a set of positions is reusable across scenes instead of being rebuilt each time. Undo and redo cover pose changes and the create and delete actions. Players can create and remove mannequins with commands, lock them in place, and change settings through config-related commands. The mod is focused on posing and scene setup rather than animation timelines.
Mannequin is released with the environment set to client and server, so the server and every player need it. It requires Fabric API and Sodium. Two release versions are listed, 1.21.8 and 1.21.11, and the latest Fabric file is 0.4.4 for 1.21.11, published on 2026-06-08 on the beta channel. The code is covered by All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
