Mace Aim

Mace Aim is a Fabric client mod that shows a crosshair colored by how far the player is above a target, to help time mace smashes.
What it does
The crosshair changes color with the fall distance, so a player can see when a mace strike will deal the most damage. Red means the fall is too short to add much damage, yellow means a decent hit, and green marks the perfect damage zone at 3 to 7 blocks of fall. From 8 blocks or more a cyan flashing crosshair appears. The colors override the usual crosshair color when the player is aimed at a target.
The mod runs on the client alone, so servers and other players do not need it. It is published for Fabric only, with a file for 1.21.8 and builds for 1.21.8, 1.21.10 and 1.21.11. Its latest file is 1.0.0 for 1.21.8, released on 2026-02-16, and the code is not open source; the mod is released under All rights reserved.

Fall distance crosshair
The crosshair color shows the fall range, from red through yellow and green to a cyan flashing state.
Sword mode and breach swap
A default key on P switches the HUD between sword mode and breach or sawping mode for the mace.
Toggleable mace line
A default key on M turns the mace line on or off, and the HUD shows the active mode in color.
