Loot Stock
by powers28
Loot Stock is a Forge and NeoForge storage mod whose configurable loot generator places items inside containers that restock at random over time.
What it does
Placed containers receive items from a loot generator, and the items refill at random intervals, which encourages players to grind and explore for supplies. The generator is set up in the lootstock.toml file in the config folder, where item entries can include a count and optional NBT data, such as ammunition from another mod. A game rule named lootstockDebug can display messages when a generator places a container, which helps when testing a setup.
Loot Stock runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.21.1 and 26.1.2, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Key features
Configurable loot generator
A generator fills placed containers with items chosen in the config file, so the loot can be tuned for a world.
Random restocking
Items appear inside containers at random times, so a looted chest is not empty for good.
Custom item entries
Entries can name an item by ID, leave it empty, or add NBT data to match a specific variant of an item.
