Loot Geodes

Loot Geodes changes geodes found underground so that breaking one drops loot chunks instead of the usual items, letting cave explorers carry less.
What it does
Tiny geodes generate underground in a way similar to ores. Like breakable pots in many other mods, a geode bursts open when struck by a thrown projectile, but here the reward is loot rather than a mined block. Default geodes hold ores, rarely enchanted books, golden apples and respective shards, while Nether geodes hold materials such as blaze powder and obsidian. Loot Geodes is published for Forge 1.20.1 and runs on client and server, so both sides need it. The source code is public and the code is under the MIT License.

Tiny geodes spawn below ground in the same spots as ores, giving cave explorers another source of loot.
Chunk drops instead of items
Breaking a geode releases loot chunks rather than dropping mined items, which keeps the inventory from filling during cave trips.
Projectile-triggered bursts
A thrown projectile that hits a geode makes it burst open, the same way breakable pots work in other mods.
