Lightwoods adds a forest dimension, reached through a command, with about ten biomes of trees, mushrooms, lanterns and pumpkins.
What it does
The mod adds a new dimension named lightwoods, built as a forest-based world generation addition. Its roughly ten biomes include Paddock Meadow, which the author describes as one of the least busy biomes, along with Hushed Forest and its icy variant Frosty Copse, the old-growth style Growth Woodland, the Halloween-themed Spooky Stand, Muskeg Marshland with water, mud and mangrove roots, and a generic slopes biome.
Entry is not a portal: the author notes that players reach the dimension by running a command, so the server must allow it. Lightwoods is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files for 1.21 – 1.21.4 and the latest one for 1.21.4. The server must run the mod, while players may add it on their side. The code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which makes the mod open source, and public links to the source code and issue tracker are available.
