LemonSkin
by myxazaur
LemonSkin shows food values, saturation and exhaustion on screen, and it is a Forge continuation of AppleSkin for Minecraft 1.12.2.
What it does
Holding a food item shows the hunger and saturation it would restore, and tooltips list the food value of each item. A HUD overlay visualizes the current saturation and exhaustion, and a debug overlay on the F3 screen shows the hunger, saturation and exhaustion values. Two rendering modes are available, named Legacy and Modern, and the Modern mode backports several visualizations from newer AppleSkin releases.
The mod is a fork of AppleSkin made specifically for 1.12.2, and its stated goals are fixing existing bugs in that version and backporting useful features from newer versions. New features are also added on top of the original. Forge is the only loader it is published for, and the Forge build targets 1.12.2 alone.
Only the client needs LemonSkin, so players install it and the server can run without it. The source code and issue tracker are public, and the mod is open source under the MIT License.
