Lead The Villagers

With Lead The Villagers, a player can attach a lead to a villager and move it around the way other mobs can be led.
What it does
The mod lets players use leads on villagers, which then follow the player and can be guided through fences and other obstacles. Villager pathfinding is also adjusted so the moved villagers behave more predictably. It is a server-side mod, so only the server needs it and players join without installing anything. Lead The Villagers is published for Fabric, with files for 1.20 – 1.20.3, under the MIT License and not open source.

A lead can be attached to a villager, letting the player lead it like other leashable mobs.

Leashed villagers can be tied to fences, so they stay in place without the player holding them.
Pathfinding changes
Villager movement is adjusted so leashed villagers follow the player with fewer stops and detours.
