What it does

Late Game Golems lets players upgrade Iron Golems with modules and weapons. Death modules trigger an effect when the golem dies, AI chips change how the golem behaves, and melee and special weapons let it wield items in both hands. Guns, shields and lanterns are also available, and each upgrade improves the golem's stats or grants an ability.

The mod has settings for the upgraded golem: whether a death message is shown, a whitelist or blacklist of mobs it may attack, a whitelist of mobs it retaliates against, and a blacklist of items that are refused when a player right-clicks the golem while holding them. Entries use the modid or modid:entityname form. The mod runs on Forge and NeoForge, and it must be installed on both the client and the server, since the environment is client and server. Files exist for 1.16.5 – 1.21.4 across 14 release versions, and the mod is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved. No required dependency is listed for Forge and NeoForge.
