LAN Properties lets a player who opens a world to LAN reach the server settings that a dedicated server would normally expose.

What it does

The mod extends the vanilla Open LAN screen with a configuration button. From it, a host can change settings in the style of server.properties without moving to a dedicated server. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, Legacy Fabric and Ornithe, covering 1.12 – 1.21.8, with snapshot builds also published.

Because the mod adds a hybrid-mode property, the online-mode setting can be turned off while hybrid-mode stays on. In that combination the server tries to authenticate each player against Mojang first. Premium players keep their official UUID, and players whose accounts cannot be checked, such as when the session servers are unreachable, join with an offline UUID.

A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Fabric API is required on Fabric, Legacy Fabric API on Legacy Fabric, Ornithe Standard Libraries on Ornithe, and Quilted Fabric API or Quilt Standard Libraries on Quilt. The code is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
