Komasan's Journey brings the Yo-kai Watch universe into Minecraft, with Komasan as the first Yo-kai found wandering the world and more planned.

What it does

Players who explore the world find Komasan wandering around, and the mod states that more Yo-kai will be added later. Yo-kai are the creatures the mod is built around, and the author describes a whole new world full of them to discover, alongside adventure content.

The mod also adds brand-new tools that are crafted with souls collected from killing Yo-kai, so combat feeds into crafting. Food is part of the plan as well: the author says many new foods are intended, and that only ice cream exists so far.

Installation needs Forge 1.20.1 and GeckoLib for Forge, which must sit in the mods folder next to Komasan's Journey. The mod is published for Forge only, with one file for 1.20.1, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source, and it is released under All rights reserved.
