What it does

Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks is a required dependency, and without it KnY-Worlds has nothing to attach to. The Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks mod is the one that consumes the region files, so KnY-Worlds is kept as a separate install. Its author separated the two because the region files are about 500 MB, and players would otherwise have to fetch them again on every update of Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks, which receives weekly updates while still in development.

The region files contain the mountain landscape of Mt Fujikasane and the village of the Swordsmith, both large handmade worlds that are too big to fit into a generator biome or into NBT structures. Players reach them through the Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks dimension system. A standalone install of KnY-Worlds does not do anything without the tweaks mod, and the author notes that Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks gives an error when this mod is missing.

The mod runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 and is published as a single 1.0.0 file for 1.20.6, dated 2026-04-27. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

This mod is a required dependency for the Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks mod (which is an addon for Orca's Kimetsunoyaiba mod). Kimetsunoyaiba Tweaks will not work without this mod. This mod contains the region files for the Swordsmith Village and the Mt. Fujikasane (final selection mountain) dimensions.
