Just Enough Cats
Just Enough Cats is a Fabric client mod that replaces chat messages, sounds and player models with cat-themed versions.
What it does
The mod bundles several cat-themed features into one client install. An auto meow option sends a selected keyword at random intervals and reports when that keyword is detected in chat. A catify option rewrites outgoing messages into cat speech. Cat facts can be sent to chat at random, and a fact about Just Enough Cats itself is included in the rotation.
Visual and audio options cover the rest. Player models can be turned into cats, including other players, with support for baby variants and custom cat textures. Chat sounds play a cat noise when a selected word appears, kill sounds play one when the player kills a mob, and a sound replacer swaps standard game sounds for cat sounds. The mod depends on Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, and is published for Fabric only across the 1.21.9 – 26.3 range. It is open source under the BSD 3-Clause License.

A player who wants cat speech and cat noises in their own game can enable the chat and kill features individually.
