JAGAHM

by remplerus

JAGAHM speeds crop growth around the player, with a configurable radius and growth rate, and adds right-click harvesting.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.16.5 – 26.3

What it does

Holding Shift over a crop makes the area around it grow faster, within a two-block radius. Both the radius and the crop speed can be set in the jagahm.toml config file, which replaced AgriGrowth.toml from version 1.21 onward. The mod also adds right-click harvesting, a feature that exists on 1.20 and later and has been backported to older versions.

The mod also works with modded crops from other crop mods. The server and every player need the mod installed. Fabric API is required on Fabric. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 21 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, and the code is All rights reserved, not open source.

Some features are unique to newer loaders: disabling functionalities and a poop item with a fart sound were added for 1.20.2 and later NeoForge and then backported to older versions. Source code and an issue tracker are publicly linked.

Key features

  1. Area crop growth

Holding Shift over crops grows the crops in a two-block radius much faster than normal growth.

  2. Configurable radius and speed

Both the growth radius and the crop growth speed can be changed in the config file.

  3. Right-click harvesting

Crops can be harvested with a right click, a feature first added for 1.20 and later backported.

Use cases

Faster farms

Players who run large crop fields can use the Shift growth boost to speed up harvest cycles.

Who it’s for: Farming-focused players and server owners who want crop growth tuned to their own pace. Only the server must run the configured values, since the mod is client and server.

Questions

Does JAGAHM require Fabric API?

Yes. Fabric API is required for the Fabric build; the Forge and NeoForge builds run without it.

Where is the JAGAHM config file?

Since version 1.21 the settings live in jagahm.toml. Older builds used AgriGrowth.toml instead.

Does JAGAHM need to be installed on the server?

Yes. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.

What the author says

When holding shift all crops in a 2 block radius will grow way faster than any mod for 1.20 can grow them. Config file is jagahm.toml (NEW since 1.21, before it was called AgriGrowth.toml)
