ItemBlock

ItemBlock is a server administration tool that restricts what players can do with specific items and blocks. An administrator marks an item as blocked, and players are then prevented from using it for tools, throwing projectiles such as Ender Pearls or bows, eating food, or interacting with entities. Placing or breaking particular blocks can be stopped the same way.

Blocked items are shown to players with a red slot in the inventory and hotbar, while administrators see them highlighted in yellow so they can be identified at a glance. Custom names and lore descriptions can be applied automatically. Inventory clearing, mob drops and block breaking can be turned on or off through commands, and each function has its own permission node for LuckPerms integration.

Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric only, with builds covering 1.18.2 – 26.2, and the latest file 1.0.0 for 26.2 dates from 2026-07-12. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license and is not open source.
