InventoryShortcuts lets players set up customizable shortcut buttons in the survival inventory screen, with a hotkey to open its config menu.
What it does
Shortcut buttons can be placed in the survival inventory and bound to custom commands or to an item icon. Each button can show an item thumbnail, so a player sees what it does at a glance. Buttons are set up in the config menu, which opens through a hotkey and covers a broad set of options for layout and behavior.
The mod also has an optional moon phase display in the bottom right corner of the screen. Since the whole mod runs on the client, a player can use it on a single-player world or on a server without installing anything on the server side. It is built for Fabric, and Mod Menu is supported but not required.
InventoryShortcuts is published for Fabric only, across six release versions covering 1.21.10 – 26.2. The latest file, 26.1-26.2 for 26.2, dates from 2026-08-08. The code is licensed under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.
