Identity+
Identity+ gives each mob transformation from the Identity mod its own health and movement speed, so turning into a rabbit or a warden plays very differently.
What it does
When a player shapeshifts with Identity, the new form now carries its own health and speed values. A transformation into a rabbit leaves the player fast and fragile, while one into a warden gives a slow, durable body that works as a tank. The change is meant to make transformations feel more immersive and balanced, and the creature's stats follow the form it takes.
The mod also closes an exploit in the original system. Switching forms no longer restores full health for free, so a player cannot swap mobs to heal instantly. Health carries over between transformations and adjusts to the new body's maximum. Identity+ needs Architectury API and runs on Fabric for 1.20.1 only.
Identity+ is published for Fabric, under All rights reserved, and is not open source. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.
Key features
Per-mob health values
Each transformed mob uses its own maximum health, so a form's durability matches the creature it represents.
Per-mob movement speed
Movement speed changes with the mob the player turns into, from quick small animals to slow large creatures.
No free full heal on switch
Current health is kept when switching forms, which removes the exploit of healing by changing into another mob.
Balanced transformations
Forms are tuned so that each one has trade-offs, making the choice of shape a real decision during play.

Use cases
Tank builds
Players who want durability can take a high-health form such as a warden and rely on its slower movement to hold ground.
Fast scouting
A small, quick form gives players speed for exploring, at the cost of lower health.
Who it’s for: Players who use the Identity mod and want its transformations to carry real stat differences, and server owners who run Identity and want to remove full-heal switching.
How it compares
Balanced Baby Zombies is a Fabric mod for 1.20.1 under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Its server is required and the client is optional, so players may add it but the server must run it. Animorphs runs on client and server for Fabric 1.19 – 1.20.1 under the MIT License, but it is not open source and focuses on a different transformation system. Identity+ is client and server for 1.20.1 only.

What the author says
Ever felt like shapeshifting with Identity was missing a bit of realism? With Identity+, every mob comes with its own health and speed values, so turning into a rabbit really feels like being a rabbit, and becoming a warden makes you a true tank.
