Iceball adds snowball variants that each carry a unique effect, along with a horse-and-boat hybrid mount and a cooking recipe using a Slime Block furnace.
What it does
Iceball turns the humble snowball into a family of items. Each variant has its own effect when thrown, so snowballs become a tool for play rather than only a projectile. The mod also adds a mount that combines the traits of a horse and a boat, and a Slime Block furnace that cooks items through a crafting recipe.
The mod needs Fabric API on Fabric. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the project is open source. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.19.3 – 26.3 and the latest file for 26.3 released on 2026-09-16. The mod was first published on 2023-02-02 and last updated on 2026-09-16. Source code and an issue tracker are publicly available.

Playful snowball fights
Players throw the different snowball variants at each other, using their effects to change how a fight plays out.
Travel by hybrid mount
