Immersive Aircraft: Better Engines
by legoaggelos
Immersive Aircraft: Better Engines adds a set of new engines, propellers and upgrade parts that change how aircraft from Immersive Aircraft perform.
What it does
The additions include a gold-plated propeller, a performance gyroscope, reinforced pipes, a supercharger in single, double and quadruple form, a turbo in single, double and quadruple form, an advanced boiler, perfect landing gear, a semi-eco engine, an advanced engine, an end engine and a dragon engine. Balancing changes accompany them, so the existing parts and the new ones sit at different strengths.
Crafting recipes have been made more complex to give progression more weight. Several recipes now use steel plates, which are made from copper, gold, iron and steel. Aircraft also cannot take two upgrades of the same type, nor two engines or two propellers on one airframe, which pushes builders toward deliberate choices.
The mod requires Immersive Aircraft, Architectury API and Compressed Fuel. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Builds cover 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.
