Once the speed mod is installed, living entities such as mobs, monsters and players move with zero drag, so they keep their momentum.
What it does
The mod changes how living entities slow down: mobs, monsters and players receive zero drag, so their speed is not reduced by air resistance. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Builds target 1.19.1 and 1.19.2, with v2.0.0 for 1.19.2 as the latest file on both Fabric and Quilt, released 2022-10-31.

Mobs, monsters and players are not slowed by drag, so their movement carries on at full momentum.
Constant high speed
The effect keeps entities moving fast for as long as they are in motion, instead of letting them coast to a stop.
No Fabric API from v2.0.0
Starting with v2.0.0, the mod no longer needs Fabric API or its companion library, so it can be installed alone.
