by berezka

Horror Structures generates dark, fear-inducing structures across the world of Forge worlds set to version 1.20.1, with traps and hidden mechanisms to find.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

Structures in the mod carry a horror aesthetic and appear naturally in the terrain, so an eerie location can be met while travelling without any command or teleport. Each structure has its own haunting backstory expressed through decay and concealed details, which keeps the sense of danger and tension present during exploration.

Inside the structures, traps, concealed mechanisms and unexpected events are placed to make each visit more intense. The decorations come from Horror Element Mod, and the library Berezkas library supplies shared code the structures use, so both must be installed. Horror Structures runs on client and server, meaning the server and every player need the mod, and it is released under All rights reserved, which means it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Naturally generated structures

Dark structures generate throughout the world rather than in one fixed biome, so eerie locations can be found during normal play.

  2. Traps and hidden mechanisms

Concealed mechanisms and traps are built into the structures, adding surprises to exploration.

  3. Horror decorations

The structures use decorations from Horror Element Mod to reinforce the fear-inducing style.

  4. Backstory in decay

Each structure tells a haunting story through decay and hidden details, which shapes how it feels to explore.
