Horde Craft
by simbey
Horde Craft brings a Hordes-inspired set of creatures, villagers and raids into Minecraft survival, with its own hordling mobs and castle trading.
What it does
Horde Craft adds a dozen new entities based on the hungry red creatures of the 1994 DOS and 3DO game Horde. Three hordling types appear in the Plains village raid, and a Shaman Hordling is met in other biomes. Hordlings want to eat crops, animals and villagers, and villagers do not spawn in a world until the first Horde raid happens, so the mod sets its own pace for the early game.
Players prepare by building up a village, trading with villagers and collecting emeralds. Castles, bankers and a king offer trades, a soldier forge lets a player train a private army, and a Grimthwacker sword can be enchanted at the king's shop. A Horde can be called at a village, and a successful raid across five different biomes completes the challenge. The mod also adds a few new crops and several villager professions, and it is designed for survival play.
Horde Craft is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.20.4 and 1.21.8, with the 1.1.0 build for 1.21.8 as the latest file. It requires Geckolib and runs on the client and the server, so both need it. It is released under the zlib License and is not open source.
