Hoplite-AutoText

Hoplite-AutoText watches the chat messages the server sends to the client. Each message can carry a hidden click action for a quickcraft command, which the mod extracts from the message text and stores in a temporary buffer. When the player presses the assigned key, the stored command is sent, so a crafting step that would otherwise need a search through chat or a table of messages takes one keystroke.

The mod was written for the Battle Royale mode on the Hoplite server, where fights start quickly and the chat window is hard to keep track of. Because it intercepts the chat text through a Mixin on the chat HUD, players do not have to move the mouse to the chat window during a battle. The mod is built with high-performance Mixins and is described as lightweight, and it runs on the client alone, so the server needs nothing installed. Its files are published for 1.21.8 and 1.21.11, with the latest Fabric build, 1.0-1.21.11, dated 2026-04-17. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved.
