HonorMod

by SpencerMSU1

HonorMod adds a hidden honor score that rises and falls with a player's actions toward monsters and villagers, and that shifts how the world treats the player.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.1

What it does

Honor starts at 500 on a scale from 0 to 1000 and is not shown as a number. Actions such as slaying monsters and trading with villagers move the score, and it falls through five stages named Altruist, Good, Neutral, Villain and Tyrant. Each stage changes the world around the player, and the stage a player reaches is the main thing the mod tracks.

Changes follow the stage. Altruists gain a beacon light and a Strength buff, and nearby monsters receive Weakness. Villagers offer better trades with increased stock to good-standing players, while Iron Golems turn on a player whose reputation is poor. Certain neutral animals such as bees and dolphins become aggressive toward low-honor players. HonorMod is open source under the MIT License, runs on Fabric for 1.21.1 and is needed on client and server.
