HBM-NTM-high-edition ports selected content from the nuclear technology and warfare mod HBM-NTM to Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge, with machines and recipes as the current focus.
What it does
The project is a port of a well-known nuclear technology and warfare mod, rebuilt for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1. Because the original content is large, only parts of it are being carried over, and the current work centers on migrating machines and recipes. Nuclear explosion functionality from HBM is already implemented in this port.
Development is still in its early stages, so the mod does not yet have a complete survival system. Radiation mechanics are planned but have not been migrated, since HBM's radiation system is intricate and the author is still deciding how to approach it. Certain features, such as firearms, are deprioritized because mature alternative mods already exist for newer versions.
Recipes, loot drops and machines can currently be tested only in Creative Mode. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Only the Forge 1.20.1 port is planned, and files are published for that single version, with 0.4.10-beta as the latest file, dated 2025-11-02. The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later.
