GTM Advanced Hatch
by xingmot
GTM Advanced Hatch adds high-amperage grid energy hatches and storage units to GregTech CEu Modern, with a Forge build for 1.20.1 – 1.20.6.
What it does
Grid energy caches store and release electricity from a wireless grid. Grid Energy Caches draw power from the grid for machine recipes, while Grid Power Caches push power back into multiblock generators while they run. Four high-amp storage units cover the upper tiers, and the top laser variants reach 65536A. Tiers above two amp levels need the GTL environments, and the GTL setup opens grid storage up to 2.1 billion MAX.
The mod targets GregTech CEu Modern, which must be installed alongside it, and its items are crafted from matching-tier grid laser storage units. Retention output buses hold more slots than standard buses of the same tier, and they are recognized as external logistics by AE2's storage bus. Installation needs Forge, and the code is released under the MIT License as open source.
Key features
Grid energy caches
Caches consume power from the wireless grid for machine recipes, or feed power back into running multiblock generators.
High-amp storage tiers
Laser variants scale up to 65536A, while the lower tiers offer up to 64A per tier.
Retention output buses
Output buses hold more slots than standard buses of the same tier and keep one item per slot after output.
Network binding on placement
A placed machine binds to the wireless network automatically, and a flash card can rebind it to the same storage.
