GRIFFO is a Fabric bridge mod that resolves an animation conflict between Essential and EMF Entity Model Features, and it works alongside Fresh Animations.

What it does

Essential emotes and EMF Entity Model Features both take control of the player's animation, and when an emote plays, the EMF override blocks the player's own animation and causes visual glitches. GRIFFO sits between the two mods and fixes that clash without any changes to the other mods' own settings.

GRIFFO detects silently when an emote becomes active. While the emote runs, it pauses Fresh Animations, and once the emote ends it resumes Fresh Animations without interruption, so no manual configuration is needed. The mod is compatible with Fresh Animations, and it is published for Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.11 only.

Only the player's game needs it, and servers run without it. The code is under the MIT License, but the project is not open source. Its required dependencies are Essential Mod, Fabric API, Fresh Animations: Player Extension and [EMF] Entity Model Features.
