Grappling Hook Mod: Restitched lets players fire a grappling hook that pulls them across gaps, up walls and over terrain, with several modifiers that change how each hook behaves.
What it does
Grappling hooks can be fired to attach to blocks and reel the player toward the anchor point. Modifiers alter the hook: force fields, double hooks and other variants change how it launches, holds and pulls. The physics are described by the project as a classic take on the original design, with changes aimed at making the system easier to extend and easier to combine with other mods.
This fork is a port of Yyon's original mod, which was written for Forge. Its work began on the 1.19.2 version of v13 as an alternative for the Fabric and Quilt ecosystems, and later releases focus on enhancements on top of that port. Cloth Config API and Fabric API are required, and VS Grapples depends on this mod.
The mod is published for Fabric and Quilt across 8 release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.20.4, with snapshot builds also published. It is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with public links for the source code and issue tracker. The latest Fabric file is 1.99.0+1.20.1.beta.fabric for 1.20.1, and the latest Quilt file is 1.20.4-v1.8 for 1.20.4.
