Friends For Life
Pets that travel with their owner stay safe on the road once a collar is fitted, and Friends For Life lets players call them back with an Ocarina.
What it does
Friends For Life covers cats, wolves, parrots, horses, donkeys, mules, llamas and trader llamas. Once a tamed animal wears a collar, it takes no damage from sources other than creative mode and the void. A protected pet that dies still returns when called. The Ocarina summons a bound pet to the player across dimensions, and playing it again sends the pet to its home point. Pets wander within their home area instead of standing still.
The Pet Roster records each companion a player has bonded with. From one screen a player can see every pet, change its settings and switch its behavior mode. A home point set with the Roster is used by every protected pet without a home of its own; without one, pets return to the player's respawn point. The mod needs Forgified Fabric API on Fabric and oωo (owo-lib) on both loaders. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Invulnerable tamed pets
A collared pet takes no damage from outside sources, so it stays alive during long trips and fights.
Ocarina summoning
Sneak and right-click a protected pet to bind the Ocarina, then play it to call the pet to the player's side.
Home teleport
Holding the Ocarina while sneaking and right-clicking sends a bound pet back to its home point.
Roster management
The Pet Roster lists every registered companion and lets players edit each pet's settings and behavior mode.
Terracotta home markers
Placing different Terracotta blocks offers 17 color options for marking pet home areas.
