Freezer_Server

by ZeroTwo911

Freezer_Server is a NeoForge server tool that freezes a running server until a player joins, then lets it run normally.

NeoForgeServer-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

The mod holds a dedicated server in a frozen state, so ticks do not advance while the server waits for someone to enter. Once a player connects, the freeze lifts and the server resumes its normal operation. It uses the game's own command system and a tick command that can be run from the server terminal to freeze the server.

Installation is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. Files target NeoForge 1.21.1 only, and the author has not tested other versions. The code is under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Freeze until join

The server stays frozen while empty and unfreezes when someone joins, which suits servers started only on demand.

  2. Command-based control

The mod uses the game's own command system, including a tick command that freezes the server from the terminal.

  3. Terminal freeze

The freeze can be executed from the server terminal, so the server can be paused without a logged-in player.
