Fluorite: The Realm of Dreams

by Poiison

Fluorite: The Realm of Dreams adds a sky dimension inspired by Aether, with bosses and a progression path that starts after Netherite, for Forge on 1.20.1.

What it does

Players reach the sky dimension through a route that begins in the Nether, with the Pyronite and Amber Lighter items marking the first steps of the journey. The dimension follows its own natural rules, which change how survival works there, and it is built around bosses and a progression system that continues past Netherite gear. Fluorite also gives players fresh routes for exploring, building and combat.

Fluorite requires Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge, and the latest file is 3.0.7 for 1.20.1, released 2026-10-10. Installation covers the server and each player's game. It was first published on 2026-07-29 and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Custom crafting recipes and elixirs are supported. Recipe viewers such as JEI, REI and EMI make it easier to look up the new recipes, and a German translation is included.

Its sky textures are meant to pair with matching vanilla content. The Quadral resource pack is recommended for the dimension's look, and the author states that most shaders work with the mod, with custom skyboxes that let a shaderpack handle the dimension's sky. Fabric and NeoForge ports are planned for future updates but are not available now.

Key features

  1. Sky dimension

A dimension styled after Terraria-like skies, reached by travelling up from the Nether, with its own terrain and creatures.

  2. Bosses and progression

Bosses guard the path through the dimension, and the progression continues beyond Netherite equipment.

  3. Unique environmental rules

The dimension's natural laws differ from the overworld, so players adapt their survival approach there.

  4. Custom sky support

Custom skybox handling lets shaderpacks draw the dimension's sky correctly.
