Figura GoofyPlugin
GoofyPlugin is a Fabric add-on that extends the Lua functions available to avatar scripts, and it runs on the client alone.
What it does
Avatars are Lua scripts, and this plugin adds a set of extra functions that those scripts can call. Its functions cover regex matching, writing messages to the game log, loading and reloading avatars keyed by a player's UUID, stopping a script's execution, and a global error handler that wraps pcall. Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division accept any number of arguments. The plugin also adds a GoofyAPI section to the documentation, so the globals and the functions they accept can be looked up in game with autocompletion.
Only the client needs the plugin, since avatars and their extra functions run on the player's side, and players can install it without any server involvement. GoofyPlugin is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric alone. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.21, 1.21.1 and 1.21.4, and the latest build is 1.0.5+1.21.4 for 1.21.4, released on 2025-02-17. Its source code, issue tracker and wiki are publicly linked.
