Feur Skyland, a Forge mod for 1.20.1, fills the world with many flying islands above the classic terrain, each one a new piece of sky to explore.
What it does
Generation adds floating islands above the normal landscape, and the islands carry villages, houses, forests and fields. Players who reach them find content that vanilla terrain does not offer, and the islands sit in the sky rather than in a separate dimension. Client and server both need the mod, so every player on a server installs it too. A separate dimension in the same mod offers similar sky content with its own specific layout. The mod is for players who want more flying terrain in an ordinary world; it is published for Forge only, with a single build, 1.0.0 for 1.20.1, released 2024-12-15. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
