Fast Totem lets players move a Totem of Undying into the offhand slot with a single Shift+Click in the inventory.
What it does
The mod changes how a Totem of Undying gets into the offhand slot. Instead of dragging the totem across the inventory, a player Shift+Clicks it and it is placed into the empty offhand. The shortcut only applies when the offhand is empty, so a shield or other item already there is left alone. Fast Totem is a Fabric mod for 1.18.2 – 1.21.11 and is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, so it is not open source.
Because it runs only on the client, a server does not need it installed, and the mod works on multiplayer servers without any server-side part. The mod's author notes that some multiplayer servers may treat faster totem equipping as an unfair advantage, so players should check a server's rules before using it there.
