What it does

Music discs are normally found in chests and dropped by mobs. This mod adds crafting recipes so players can make their own, and it adds three new items to the game. Both the server and every player need the mod installed, since the environment is client and server. The only build is a NeoForge file for 1.21.1, released on 2025-05-26 as version 1.0.0.

Disc Crafter and Disc Generator are the two parts that turn a recipe into a playable disc. A Droopy Likes Face Music Disc is among the items the mod provides. Artwork for the Disc Generator comes from SunshineAudios, who is credited by the author. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license and is not open source, so redistribution of modified copies is not permitted.

Key features

  1. Craftable music discs

Players can craft music discs at a workstation instead of relying only on loot and mob drops.

  2. Disc Crafter

A block-based crafting station that assembles the discs from the selected parts.

  3. Disc Generator

A machine that produces disc items, with its own artwork credited to SunshineAudios.

  4. Three new items

The mod adds three items to the game, including the Droopy Likes Face Music Disc.

Craftable Music Disc is not open source, is published under All rights reserved and also targets NeoForge 1.21.1 on client and server. Etch and Copy, another All rights reserved NeoForge 1.21.1 mod, is listed as client and server as well, so it also needs the same installation on both sides.
