Endless Pearls
by InventoXtar
Endless Pearls is a data pack that removes the cooldown on ender pearls and lets a player chain teleports one after another on a server.
What it does
The pack changes how ender pearls behave in vanilla play. Throwing a pearl no longer starts a cooldown, and a pearl thrown while an earlier one is still in flight carries the player onward to the newest landing point. Movement can therefore continue without a pause between teleports, which the vanilla rules normally prevent.
Its server requirement is the defining point: only the server needs the pack, so a server owner installs it and players join without adding anything. The pack is published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt, with files for 1.20.1 and an earlier 1.20 build. It is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.
The data pack's settings can be adjusted to suit a server's preferred pace of travel and gameplay style, and it works alongside the Customization Compatibility option the author describes.
Key features
Teleport on landing
Each thrown ender pearl teleports the player to the landing spot without the usual delay or interruption.
Cooldown removal
The pack removes the cooldown normally tied to throwing ender pearls, so teleports can happen immediately.
Continuous chaining
A pearl thrown while another is still in transit carries the player onward, allowing movement to continue without a break.
Adjustable mechanics
Server administrators can change the teleportation parameters to match the gameplay style they want.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Long-distance travel
Chained pearls let a player cross large terrain, such as oceans or mountain ranges, in fewer steps.
Survival exploration
Without cooldowns, a player can escape danger or reach distant areas more quickly during survival play.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want faster ender pearl travel for their players, and players on those servers who explore large maps.
How it compares
Teleportation Stone is a Forge-only mod for 1.20.1 that is client and server, under All rights reserved. Higher Pearl Cooldown targets 1.21.4 – 1.21.5 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, is server required with the client optional, and is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only. Endless Pearls covers 1.20 and 1.20.1 and works as a data pack rather than a loader mod.
