Enclosure is a server-side claim mod that lets players mark and protect their homes, and it has to be installed on the server for those claims to take effect.

What it does

Players use Enclosure to claim land and set who may act inside a claimed area. A claim can be split into sub-enclosures, and the owner of an enclosure can grant other players permissions such as placing blocks or killing animals inside it. Permissions are set through a GUI, and the author describes the permission system as exhaustive, covering many actions a player can take in a protected area.

Enclosure also changes some vanilla behavior inside claims, so that certain actions, such as breaking bedrock, no longer bypass block protection. The mod is built for servers, where server owners and their players manage homes and shared spaces. Only the server requires Enclosure to run, and players may add it on the client for extra features. The license is custom and the code is not open source. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt across 10 release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.21.2, with snapshot builds also published.
