Enchanted Books Levels lifts the level cap on multi-level enchantments so books and anvils can reach level 10.

What it does

Enchantments that normally come in several levels, such as Sharpness, Protection, Efficiency and Unbreaking, can be raised up to level 10. Enchantments that exist only at one level are left as they are, and Channeling and Multishot are not changed either. The mod also adds a creative tab with enchanted books from level 1 to level 10, so a level-10 book can be taken without crafting it.

Applying high-level enchantments through an anvil is supported without the vanilla limits. The mod works with vanilla enchanting mechanics and only raises the caps. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for NeoForge only, across 11 game versions 1.21.1 – 1.21.11, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file. The code is not open source and is licensed under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Higher enchantment caps

    Multi-level enchantments such as Sharpness, Protection and Efficiency can reach level 10 instead of the vanilla maximum.

  2. Single-level enchantments unchanged

    Mending, Silk Touch, Infinity, Aqua Affinity and Flame keep their normal behavior, and Channeling and Multishot are left alone.

  3. Anvil support for high levels

    Enchanted books and items can be combined at an anvil to produce high-level enchantments without the vanilla cap.

  4. Creative tab with level 1 to 10 books

    A creative tab holds enchanted books from level 1 to level 10 for every extended enchantment.
